Poundstretcher

The Poundstretcher Store located in the town centre of Colwyn Bay became the focus of poltergeist-like activity - much to the fright of the employees. Reported phenomena included falling suitcases when nobody was near them, toys “going mad”, electrical interference, and sinks inexplicably filled with water. A medium was brought in and the ghost “banished”...

Princess Theatre Bingo and Social Club

Reports of strange noises and “a fleeting figure” have been reported, and a misty form has been captured on a photograph. The building used to be a cinema and reputed to be haunted by a projectionist who was accidentally killed in the projection box.

The Antique Trunk

The last thing you expect when you purchase something from an Antique shop is to be buying a possessed item, or one that comes with its own entity. Yet this is what apparently happened to one family who purchased an antique trunk and took to their Colwyn Bay home. The phenomena started soon after it was brought into the house. Reports of a man sat on the child’s bed, disembodied laughing in a “cruel, mocking manner”, the misty form of a woman, and the feeling of something unseen sitting on the beds. Without taking chances, the truck was thrown onto a bonfire and incinerated, after which the phenomena stopped.
